Matt Jensen, Managing Director (FSP 16203)
Matt’s all about building strong relationships and really getting to know what his clients need, and he’s been doing just that as a Financial Advisor since 1992. He leads our team and spent 25 years running his first Insurance brokerage (MJIB) and then following acquisition, a senior Fire & General & financial insurance advisor in Gallagher Insurance.

One of Matt’s areas of expertise is helping clients get the most from their ACC benefits while reducing their levies. His solution produces more comprehensive protection - covering not just accidents, but also illness and mental health. That means triple the coverage for around the same overall cost. It’s a unique solution offered by only a select few advisors in New Zealand

Before diving into insurance, Matt was a qualified builder - so you can always find him in his spare time with a hammer or saw, either working on a renovation project or building something new. He’s also a massive motorsport fan, has completed the Ironman twice, and is probably the biggest Will Ferrell (actor) fan on the planet!

Matt’s a Fellow of the Insurance Broker Association of New Zealand (FIBANZ) and holds a National Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) plus a NZ Advanced Trade Certificate in Building.
